Project implementation period: 18 March 2021 – 20 March 2023.
Since the project will be implemented in the territory of Kedainiai municipality and Anyksciai municipality, the impact of the project and the reduction of social and economic differences in Lithuania will take place on the scale of two districts.
During the project, 39 health clinics will be renovated in the municipality of Kėdainiai and Anykščiai, and methodological tools for improving the health of young people will be purchased, which will contribute to improving the quality of health care services in schools and pre-school educational institutions. It is also planned to acquire sufficient means to strengthen mental health.
Project activities:
- Publicity of the project (in order to ensure the transparency and proper implementation of the project, it is planned to constantly inform the public about the progress of the project implementation, measures, achievements, opportunities to use the project results. At the beginning, informational posters with basic information about the project to be implemented (in A4 format) will be hung in the premises of the project promoter and partners. 6 informative educational events will be held (3 in each municipality), promotional preventive paraphernalia will be distributed during the events. A project website will be created.)
- Administration of the project (it is planned to employ two employees: a project manager and a project partner coordinator. It is also planned to acquire the following services:
1. Execution of the project and implementation of supervision;
2. Provision of public procurement and legal advice;
3. Public procurement and legal consulting services (for partner). - The project applicant and partner plan to purchase public procurement and legal consulting services separately.)
- Renovation of health cabinets (health cabinets will be repaired in 16 schools and pre-school educational institutions. It is planned to repair 10 health cabinets in Kedainiai district municipality, 6 health cabinets in Anyksciai district municipality.)
- Equipping school health cabinets with information communication technologies and other means (39 health offices will be equipped with computer and organizational equipment, furniture and tools to strengthen mental health. 29 of cabinets are in the territory of Kedainiai district municipality and 10 health cabinets are in Anyksciai district municipality.)
- Acquisition of methodological tools for general health improvement (16 sets of health improvement, prevention and methodical measures were purchased for the health cabinets of 39 educational institutions in Kėdainiai and Anyksciai municipalities:
1. Assessment tools for health risk factors, 2 sets, 148 pcs.
2. Environmental assessment tools, 2 sets, 31 pcs.
3. First aid training tools, 2 sets, 40 pcs.
4. Means for promoting physical activity, 2 sets, 23 pcs.
5. Means for promoting healthy nutrition, 2 sets, 43 pcs. - 6. Means for the prevention of bad habits, 2 sets, 42 pcs.
- 7. Sexuality education tools, 2 sets, 38 pcs.
8. Tools for the development of hygienic skills, 2 sets, 100 pcs.) - Acquisition of methodological tools for improving mental health (8 sets of mental health improvement and prevention measures were purchased for the health offices of 39 educational institutions in the municipalities of Kedainiai and Anyksciai districts:
1. Mental health equipment, 2 sets, 71 pcs.
2. Literature on mental health, 2 sets, 337 units.
3. Games for improving mental health, 2 sets, 237 pcs.
4. Educational tools for improving mental health, 2 sets, 271 units.)
Up to 218,491.45 euros are allocated for the implementation of the project, of which up to 185,717.73 euros are mechanism funds and up to 32,773.72 euros are co-financing funds.
Possible applicants for this project are legal entities.
